SOMETHING AMAZING:

Once the Prophet (pbuh) was leaving home to go pray fajr in the early of hours of the morning. As he was leaving he saw ummul mu'mineen jawwariya (ra) doing zikr. He (pbuh) came home later in the day around the time of Zuhr only to find jawwariya (ra) in the same place reciting the same zikr. He told her that he’ll teach her such a zikr that reciting it only 3 times will earn her more reward than she has accumulated all morning with her current recitation. The he (pbuh) told her the following verses:

Subhan Allahi wabi-hamdi
Addada Khalqihee
Wa Ridda nafsihee
Wa zinata arshi-hee
Wa midaada kalimatihee

As you know when you recite any zikr you earn the reward for its meaning (& weight) and the number of times you recite it.

The reason the above zikr is special because it takes the praises Allah likes best & multiplies them by ultimate numbers. This is what the zikr means:

Glory be to Allah & Praise
(times) by the number He has created
(times) By His own satisfactions
(times) By the Magnificence of His thrown
& by His own Words

Therefore you are multiplying the best of praises by the number Allah has created (how many things has he created? What’s the number?). by His own satisfactions (how satisfied must the Ultimate being be?) by the magnificence of His thrown (there is a hadith in which the Prophet (pbuh) said that if the entire creation consisting of both jinn and men got together to harm the throne of Allah they would not be able to put a scratch of a mustard seed on it. So how magnificent is that thrown?). and finally by the words of Allah. Here another hadith is brought into the equation in which the Prophet (pbuh) said that if all the trees were cut down and turned into pens, and all the oceans were turned in to ink just to write the words of Allah, then still that amount of ink or pens wouldn’t suffice. Not even if another 7 oceans were brought forth just like them.

A few light words on the tongue can be the best weight on the scale of deeds. The key is knowing them & learning them. May Allah tip the balance in our favour so we may enjoy the fruits of paradise for all Eternity, Ameen
