I am 26 years old, Indonesian nationality. University student in Cairo, Egypt. I would like to know more muslim people from all over of the world. I like travelling and reading. I am moving to UK soon after I finish my degree in Egypt. I am an open minded, cool and easy going, but ofcourse there are limits that i won't take over. I am now in Acheh, Indonesia, helping people to rebuild their life after tragic disaster Tsunami, trough Tsunami Recovery Program.
Travelling, reading, climbing, swimming, bowling, debating about something good.

Assalamo aleikom respected brother!

suni (18 Nov 2007, 8:20 am):

Salamualaykum brother in islam, How are you?

May have a blessed life ahead...Here a poem for you...

Title: the oak

The oak's icy outline,
Etched against the sky,
Winter's cold has stripped it bare,
Naked to the eye.

Sitting in the snow,
Beside this tall, strong friend,
There's warmth, steady comfort,
Promise the storm will end.

Inside the massive trunk,
A river of life flows,
Winter cold gives way to spring,
Hope of rebirth grows.

In the sun, a bud appears,
Unfolding a velvety leaf,
A new season arrives from patience,
Wisdom, and true belief.

Underneath the shady boughs,
The oak's rejoicing splendor,
Forget the blizzard's bitter touch,
The surviving bond, remember.

Your sister in islam,

-suni-

[2. Surah Al-Baqarah : Ayah 43]

And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and bow down with those who bow down.

Cleanliness is half of Faith

[Sahih Muslim : Book 2, Book Name Kitab Al-Taharah Number 432]

Abu Malik at-Ash'ari (Radi Allah Anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) said: Cleanliness is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fill upwhat is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one's faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.

[2. Surah Al-Baqarah : Ayah 222]
Surely Allah loves those who turn much (to Him), and He loves those who purify themselves.

Our Lord! grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire.

Our Lord! accept from us; surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing.

We all need some words of encouragement, so therefore I'm sending you this. Keep these words in mind, and InshAllah you will always succeed.

The Pencil Maker took the Pencil aside, just before putting it into the box.
"There are five things you need to know," the Pencil Maker told the Pencil, "Before I send you out into the World. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best Pencil you can be."
1. "You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in someone's hand."
2. "You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you will need it to become a better Pencil."
3. "You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make."
4. "The most important part of you will always be what's inside."
5. "On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write."
The Pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.
Now replacing the place of the Pencil with you. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.
1. "You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Allah's (SWT) hand. And allow other human beings to access you for the many gifts you possess."
2. "You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, by going through various problems in life, but you will need it to become a stronger person."
3. "You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make."
4. "The most important part of you will always be what's on the inside."
5. "On every surface you walk through, you must leave your mark. No matter what the situation, you must continue to do your duties."
Moral: Allow this parable on the Pencil to encourage you to know that you are a special person and only you can fulfill the purpose to which you were born to accomplish.
Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot make a ch
