Hey everybody, my name's Devon, most of my friends call me Red. I'm 21 years old. i'm a black, mexican, native american muslim. yeah, mixed up. i'm in south dakota, and it's not too bad. hmm what else. let's keep movin I'm a senior in college, just tryna get it over with, move on to the grown man thing. i'm majorin in environmental science, got a gig on the indian reservation out here countin birds and studyin these lagoons and wetlands. shut up, i like it. came from a military family, so although i might be in south dakota, i am NOT from here. But, all the same, home is wherever i lay my head at. I don't like childishness. I like jokin around, and on many o smoke breaks you'll see me on my usual standup comedy routine, but games are outta the question. If you wanna talk, let's talk. there really isn't anything to do in south dakota besides school, work, gym, and hunting/wildlife, so if you send me a message, i'll probably tap you back pretty quick. chances are i'm at home watching the news or sitting on the computer. so yeah, you want a good conversation, tap me. Facta Non Verba. Deuce.
A good conversation.

salaam alaikum Brother. You still out in Rapid? If so, my husband Eric & I will be coming your way for a sculpture show he is showing his work in. It will be at Hill City this weekend. We will arrive in Hill City on Friday afternoon. So insha Allah, we will see you there at the show this weekend! Bring some Brothers from Rapid too, as it would be nice to meet some of the Muslims in west river! Salaam

as salaamu alaykum,

Qur'an 40:40. "He that works evil will not be requited but by the like thereof: and he that works a righteous deed - whether man or woman - and is a Believer- such will enter the Garden (of Bliss): Therein will they have abundance without measure.

Salaam alaikum Brother, what part of South Dakota you in? We live near South Dakota University in a small town east of Brookings. My brother is down in Sioux Falls & attends the masjids down there. Just curious. Originally came to your page to invite you to check out our group here on muslimspace http://spaces.muxlim.com/groups/447 It is a 1st Nations egroup here on Muslimspace. Via this group you may be able to link with other Muslims who are N.A. or perhaps answer questions for 1st Nation members who are thinking about Islam. The main purpose is not to "divide" the ummah, but rather to give support to the Native American Muslim community in all its diversity. Insha Allah. On the group we try to keep everyone informed about the sadaqa project that is taking place out here in South Dakota amongst the Crow Creek Sioux tribe. So would love to learn if its of any interst to you. Salaam, your sister in South Dakota & ISLAM... Anisah
