Assalaamu 'alaikum sister,
I had to laugh at the scaring people by smiling and waving at them in the mall. I used to live in LA, and thought people there were pretty used to seeing hijabis. (but that was way b4 9-11) You should try it out in middle America (aka red-neck land). May Allah bless and protect you.

i think we all have to deal with that everytime we go into the mall (LOL) wow, mashallah you're so lucky to go back to your country with all the commotion going on there. How is it when you go there? You can't imagine how much it hurts me to hear about people in Palestine, Iraq etc suffering for no good reason. yea its been ages since we last talked.alhamdulillah all is well,inshAllah all is well with u too.yup i was in NY for like 3 months..now alhamdulillah i am back to Turkey and havin Ramadan here:)btw Ramadan Mubarak ;) well our presidents wife doesnt wear hijab,actually our president sux cause he is so against anything islamic i can tell,but our prime minister is a good muslim at least he seems so,his wife,and daughters are all hijabi,most of other ministers wifes r hijabi as well,but there is still ban unfortunately.so i dunno where u heard this rumor from but i wish its true which is actually not :(salamun aleikum sister,thnx for stoppin by.take care inshAllah. ahmed
