My name is Shaheed. If you want to know about me just ask.
I like authentic and sincere people.
I don't like fitnah or shadiness.
I like to listen to Fareed Abdullaah alot, but I listen to others. One of the best khutub I've ever heard is "Prisoner of Rome" by Abu Uways.
I'm a movie head.
I have alot of favorites but right now I'm reading: Becoming a Master Student (Ellis), Journey to Allaah (Ibn Rajab), and Minhaj-ul-Muslim (al-Jazaa'iree). Just finished Things Fall Apart (Achebe) and about to start The Sealed Nectar (Mubaarakpooree). I love books by Ibnul-Qayyim, Ibnul-'Uthaymeen and as-Sa'dee.

MBrevert (14 Nov 2008, 3:34 am):
its at 6:30 at a church in Derby, the pastor wrote a book about opening dialogues with Muslims and is giving a lecture and requested to have some Muslims there to make some comments at the end of the lecture, and also to promote his book a little I bet
MBrevert (13 Nov 2008, 3:21 am):

Are you going with us to that church next Wednesday?
Slytlee_Impurfekt (11 Nov 2008, 7:31 pm):
Wa Laikum As Salaam.  Lol are you serious, you're the only other person I've heard say that.  I think it's because it's one of those books that still makes sense to you as an adult.  I still have the copy my dad gave me for my 5th b'day.  And yea the Alchemist is definately in the top 5. It's one of those books that kinda made you take a look at yourself and ask 'what am I doing to realize my destiny?' I only bought it because i needed something to do during jury duty...but it was worth it.
MBrevert (10 Nov 2008, 10:53 pm):

They made it better now, I'm more used to this
