I was blue..until...

Salaam All
Yup today I wasn't feeling like myself.. focusing on what I don't have and what I miss... also asking Allah for guidence (sometimes you have to reflect and get it out of your system)
Well I was blue until I went in to Boston in full veil.
It gave me a sense of peace... security... I know some that don't wear the niqab wouldn't get it... but it's nice to wear when your feeling happy or blue... No one's all up in your face and you don't have to fake a smile- talk in a pleasant tone as always...
Its as the Prophet (SAW) said to be in the world but not part of it...
I haven't been out the house since Sunday so I was happy to get out to day... and wearing the veil just made it easier... MashAllah
I think that was one of the reason I took on the Niqab other thenthe fact that I find it to be the MOST BEAUTIFUL COVERING EVER... It's Modest, Sensual, Angelic and Crisp.
And I know some of the muslimahs on here who doesn't wear it do find themselves admiring the veil. Just go and buy one... Not a burqa style maybe a hijab with a half niqab... and put it on... Or get the 3 layers Burqa (my personal fav) and wear it...
Forget about the stupid arguement ( it's fard, no it's sunnah no it's not blah blah blah)... block out hear say- and just slip it on...and Just for a moment mimick the mother of the believers... Like any daughter who has a Great mother- she'd like to be just like her... The Mother to the Mumin is and always will be Aisha (RA). And See through her eyes (through the veil) the world we live in today..
.
Embrace the warm feeling of the material blanket itself over your beauty... Stand in front of the mirror and giggle at the fact that you laugh but it's not shown... make funny faces in it and crack up even more because you can't see it... no one can... LOL- ( that's what I did I when i first slipped it on... like a new dress)
My friends used to tell me all the time- Even though they couldn't see my face they knew my expression based on my eyes... tee-hee
The eyes never lie....
I'm telling you guys it's an awesome feeling...to wear that which the wives of the Prophet (SAW) wore. It's classic and traditional... a quick Iman lifter that's for sure.
Now for those whose against it or want to talk down about it... Don't... because you're just looking at it from one side... if you never ever put it on (For the Sake of Allah and yourself... Not because of culture and so forth or at all) then you can't speak about it. Nor do I believe in the whole Once you put it on you must keep it on story.... That's just unreal-
Be you... and with that just once try the niqab on... first in the home and then out in the public...
Ok
Ma Salaama
