Salam my fellow brothers and sisters in Islam...
My name is Fadhillah a singaporean. Im a born Muslim and am proud and grateful of it.

I studied in an Arabic school here in Singapore since i was young and currently pursuing my Bachelor Double Degree in Civil Law and Shariah at the International Islamic University of Malaysia....

My goal in life is to be a true believer of Islam and be a successful and a role model Muslimah that every true believer hopes to emulate regardless of the profession that im involve in and the position that im entrusted with...Insha Allah...

Well specifically, my ambition is to be a successful lawyer who fight for justice and uphold the truth... I believed its a very big responsibility but i also believed that its in my blood and i have faith in God to guide me to the correct path... Insha Allah..
I have a great patience for Sufism poetry especially those of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi, Farid-Uddin-Attar's "Conference of the birds", Hamzah Yusuf's "Purification of the hearts" and many more...

I like to participate and listen to Interfaith Dialogue seminar especially that of Ahmad Deedat...

I enjoy appreciating and contemplating through God's vast creation of nature during my spare time.. And i also like photography...

Hobbies and Interests:

Outdoor activities and sports, TRAVELLINGG, cooking, surfing the net for info, reading Islamic and informative magazine, SHOPPINGG wif my gerlz, Up-to-date wif Muslimah fashion, Revamp my wardobe and like to make myself busy such as involving in volunteering activities etc...

Here's some favourite quote of mine by RUMI:

"Are you fleeing from LOVE because of a single humiliation?
What do you know of LOVE except the name?
Love has a hundred forms of pride and disdain,
And is gained by a hundred means of persuasion.
Since Love is loyal, it purchases one who is loyal,
It has no interest in a disloyal companion".(RUMI)

"Eventhough your not equipped, keep searching...
Equipment isn't necessary on the Way to the Lord.
Whoever you see engaged in search,
Become her friend and cast your head in front of her,
For choosing to be a neighbour of seekers,
You become one yourself,
Protected by conquerors,
You will yourself learn to conquer". (RUMI)

Hint : A knowledge seeker.

I loathe HYPOCRACY!!! As Rumi said, "The world's hypocracy and flattery is a sweet morsel, eat less of it for its full of fire, its taste manifest while its fire is hidden, but its smoke will be visible in the end".
I like listening to music as long as it doesnt make me astray from my God... I believed Islam recognizes moderate enjoyment as long as it's not extreme. Its human nature and their inclination to have some enjoyment. Islam realizes that and doesnt reject that desires totally... This is one of the beauty of Islam SIMPLICITY, TOLERANCE AND MODERATION...

Type of music i listen to :

English RnB, Modern pop, slow music, some classics, Jazz, Nasheed, Malay traditional song, Arabic song, Hindi song and not forgetting of course the peaceful and tranquil sounds of the recitation of the Holy Quran....

All time favourites :

Raihan (Nasheed group) - Sami Yusuf - Yusuf Islam - Amr Diab - Nancy Agram....

A Muslim woman TRUE beauty...

For attractive lips : Speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes : Seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure : Share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair : Let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.

For poise : Walk with the knowledge that you will never walk alone.

The Dark Night
By Babar Ahmad
HMP Manchester

The night is dark and there’s no sign of light.
The tunnel is long and there’s no end in sight.

The road is thorny and the path is steep,
There’s no time to rest and no time to sleep.

The air is thin and the rope is tight,
There isn’t much energy left to fight.

The ocean is deep and the brine is cold,
The lifeboats of rescue have all been sold.

The forest is thick and full of peril,
At every turn are snares of the devil.

Seething serpents in every crevice,
Snarling hisses full of menace,

With crocodile tears and a stiff upper lip,
And venomous bites that cause steel to rip,

With fake smiles and eloquent words,
As sweet as nightingale singing birds,

With shiny suits and well-groomed hair,
They entice victims into their lair.

The world is ruled by crocodiles and snakes.
The world is ruled by frauds and fakes.

Diversity and multiculturalism,
(Are just fancy words for state racism).

Fairness and honour are things now extinct,
Justice and power are two things distinct.

Power corrupts and gets to the head,
It enters the blood and turns gold into lead.

Years without trial incarceration,
In what is supposed to be a great nation!

The rule of law and human rights,
Have melted away into silent nights.

Those who claim moral superiority,
Only instil hatred into the minority.

Those who care fear more for themselves,
And thus leave their values on the bookshelves.

So where are the bearers of valour and nobility?
Where are those who stand tall in adversity?

Where are the men who stood up to power?
And dismiss the urge to hide and cower?

Where are the men who have a conscience?
Why don’t they put an end to this nonsense?

Where are the knights and where are the scholars?
Who worry about more than their pennies and dollars?

Why do they fear to correct that which is wrong,
Then justify it with words that are so long?

If they can’t walk the walk, they shouldn’t talk the talk,
But sit at the table with their knife and fork.

How can it be that men are born free,
Yet they prefer to live in slavery?

Grovelling and bowing to the snakes on thrones,
Slavering away until they turn into bones.

But what good is there in a life of disgrace,
Where every second is spent saving face?

What is in the dark must come to light,
All then their lies will be swept out of sight.

For truth is a stallion that never fails its master,
If it is suppressed it gallops even faster.

The victims of injustice are thorns in the side,
Like bleeding arteries they never subside.

Until the oppressed are returned their dues,
Their plights will remain headline news.

The Day is approaching in which tyrants will weep,
As they have sown so shall they reap.

That is the Day: Judgement Day,
When the One Most High will have His Say.

The night is dark but it will soon be dawn,
Since the noose is tight so shall it be torn.

The night is dark but it will soon be dawn,
And there a new era….shall be born.

Assalamu Alaikum sister,
How are you doing?  Insha Allah we can be friends, for sure!!  It would also be very nice to have a future lawyer among my list of friends, I hope you can do the part more justice than I ever did.  Insha Allah.

Besides, you're more than just a friend, you're my sister in Islam - that means more.

Let me know of any topic you wish to discuss, I love interesting discussions, mainly surrounding religion, especially Islam.

Keep well, take care and keep in touch.

Peace be upon you and your family, Insha Allah.

Assalamu Alaikum sister,
I just wanted to say Zajak Allah Khair for passing by my page.

I was also thinking about being a lawyer - criminal law interested me alot.  But my heart has changed its course on that one.  Insha Allah, I plan to become a journalist, as I love reading, writing and travelling too - so journalism will include all that!!  Also, we Muslims get too much bad press, if I can write the news, I can show the truth, Insha Allah.

Keep well and take care.

Peace be upon you and your family, Insha Allah.

Assalamou alaikum wr wb. I pray this msg reaches you while you are enjoying the best of health & imaan. Nice page sis. Some of the photos remind me of the Malaysia I knew back in 1999 & 2000. I hope to go there again i'Allah. The words of Br Babar Ahmed make my heart bleeds. We shall never forget in our duahs those muslims who are being oppressed night & day just for wanting the Deen of Allah to prevail... Today I want to share with you this hadith of Abu Huraira (ra) as reported by Muslim, in which the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: “By the One in whose hands is my soul! None of you can enter Jannah until you believe and none of you can believe until you love each other for Allah’s sake. Shall I not direct you to something, which if you do it, will bring love between you? Do spread the salutations among you”. Saying salaam to a Muslim/Muslimah is like loving him/her for the sake of Allah. It also shows that you love this particular servant of Allah due to his/her imaan and obedience to Allah. So sister, each time when you see that I have visited your MuslimSpace page, then do consider that its my way to say salaam to you over and over again, even though I’ll not be writing it down in your guestbook. Take care. Ma’assalama.
