Salamu alaikum my good sister , according to a sound hadith , dunya is a paradise for the non believer , and a jail for the believer . Nevertheless , according to the Sunna as well , Dunya is a sad place for the non-believers (awaiting death) , and a happy place for the believers (awaiting Jenna) , if you put the two teachings together you get the feeling of the believer in Dunya .

Ok what I am asking is there are items or products that are avaialable now that were not available during the time of the Prophet Muhammad(saws), ie toilet paper, etc....but I hear alot of Muslims saying that alot of things are Bidah or Haram because it was not around back then, but did not Allah(swt) create everything? So how is it Haram or Bidah?

I just joined this website today. Been just looking around. I didnt realize there are many of the muslim faith in the United States. Thinking of islam but still so many questions.
