Dear brother, Thanks for your comment at my page. You seem to have a situation here whether to give priority to your job or your family (wife). Perhaps you can have both.!! I have no clear understanding of the nature of your work. Being close to other sexes sometimes cannot be avoided such as being a doctor or being a teacher. So brother perhaps you could mention the nature of your job and it is a requirement of you being really close to opposite sex that makes your wife considered it as inappropriate. I must say jealousy is good especially when a wife or a husband is jealous cause she LOVEs you. But over jealousy or without having no good reason and to be jealous, then it is bad. Understanding and tolerence is a must. You have to admit and accept your shortcoming as well as to accept your spouse shortcoming. Open your heart and accept the will of Allah that He bestows upon you. May Allah be with you and your wife. Wassalam.

Assalaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullaah May Allaah reward all of the brothers (and, or sisters) who've given their advise (ameen) It is hard to find work in the U.S. that does not involve ikhtilaat/intermingling between the sexes, but if one is able to to find such a job (that is halaal), one should seek that job. In the mean time, you should lower your gaze, avoid shaking hands, and to the best of your ability, avoid any unnesseccary conversations with the women. This is better for your heart. May Allaah bless you and your family with love, tranquility, and mercy (ameen)

What I advise first and foremost is to make dua to Allah(swt). Also I would advise fasting at least one day out the week or fasting Monday and Thursday to helps control your nafs, of course Allah(swt) know best. Seek his aid.
May Allah(swt) guide you ,your family,me,and my family ever nearer to the straight Path, the path that Allah(swt grants Jinnah.

Inshallah This Reaches you While In The Best of Health And Height Of Iman. A bedouin came to the Holy prophet Muhammad (saw) and asked him some questions. Bedouin: I wish to be the richest person in the world. Prophet(saw): Be content and you will be the richest person in the world. Bedouin: I would like to be the most learned of people. Prophet(saw): Fear Allah and you will be the most learned of people. Bedouin: I would like to be the most just of people. Prophet(saw): Desire for others what you would like for yourself and you would be the most just of people. Bedouin: I would like to be the best of people. Prophet(saw): Be good to others and you will be the best of people. Bedouin: I would like to be the most honorable of people. Prophet(Saw): If you do not complain to any fellow humans you will be the most honorable of people. Bedouin: I wish to be safe from Allah's Wrath on the Day of Judgment. Prophet(saw): If you do not lose your temper with any of your fellow humans, you will be safe from Allah's wrath on the Day of Judgment. Bedouin: What are the worst evils in the sight of Allah? Prophet(saw): Hot temper and miserliness (i.e. selfishness with money). Inshallah Allah (swt) gives us the Tafik and the ability to understand this and put into pratice!!! |
