Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah.
Bukhari :: Book 3 :: Volume 31 :: Hadith 118 Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, 'I am fasting." The Prophet added, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), 'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times." May Allah give us tawfiq.Ameen. Ramadan Kareem!

Salaam sis....just wanted to pop in and say hi. I hope all is well with you. What's the weather like there during this time of the year?
I went back home to New York for vaction and we had a great time. We were there for a week. The weather was great in New York but it's been doing a lot of raining in North Carolina. It's fine with me because it's been watering the lawn and helping it grow because I seeded it before we left to NY and so all the rain is well needed :o) So, what have you been up to this summer? Salaam...How are you doing? I'm doing good. Enjoying the weather. I've been planting flowers and started some vegetables too. So far so good....only thing is that I got bit twice by ants. Once in the palm of my hand and another by my ankle area and it's swelled up. I'm allergic to them. I found out about being allergic to them last year when I got bit for the first time by an ant. Amazing huh?!
