Hi my name is Abdul Malik. I was raised muslim following the salafus salih from a large family in Philadelphia .I work in the electrical technical field and also is a jack of all trades.I can build a house and everything in it,fix a car and go make my own dinner too.I am usually kind of quiet and like to travel and have a good sense of humor.Allah is always first in my life and I try to follow the sunnah of the prophet (saws) and the 1st 3 generations after him to insure my studies are free from bidah. There was a time in my life although raised muslim I went against the teachings out of ignorance of my religion.Too often some of us raised muslim take it for granted.I live everyday trying to improve myself and seeking forgiveness for past mistakes and trying to be a better person.May allah guide me Ameen!!
I like to read and study quran, sahih muslim.sahih bukhari, ibn kathir, books to improve my deen, and the salafi manhaj. Also like to exercize and jog, write poetry, cook ,clean, martial arts, work with my hands. I love to surround myself with pleasant people even if they are just pretending.I also like to sing when I'm alone so no one will ever hear how good I am mashaallah!!
I do not like to argue or anyone with a negative vibe.I do not like what is haraam for me or people who like to cause fitna.fake muslims or muslim only by name who not know or want to learn thier religion.I do not like when people try to teach what they do not fully understand.I also dislike the american military which I spent four years in from 99-03 because of what is going on in the middle east now.The best injury I ever had was the one that made me leave the army.Alhumdulillah.

I also dislike american bias media concerning muslims or the islamic world and perspective.I do not like popular music(especailly rap these days), movies portraying black people as gangsters and corrupt, most television shows and stupid people.

As salamu'alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh,A short reminder for verily reminding benefits the believers.Thinking Ahead for Prayer Abû Al-Dardâ’ – Allah be pleased with him – said: It is from a person’s knowledge and understanding that he sees to his needs first in order to turn to his prayer with a heart free of distractions. Ibn Al-Mubârak in Al-Zuhd wa Al-Raqâ’iq Vol.2 p726

A short reminder. for verily reminding benifits the believers.
Take the Quran

Abu Al-'Âliyah reports that a man once asked 'Ubay b. Ka'b – Allah be pleased with him – for advice. He said:

Take the Book of Allah as your leader (imâm) and be pleased with it as a judge and ruler. It is what your Messenger left amongst you. It will be an intercessor for you. It is to be obeyed. It is a witness never doubted. In it is a mention of you and those before you, and judgment for whatever happens amongst you. And in it is news about you and whatever will come after you.

Al-Dhahabî in Siyar A'lâm Al-Nubalâ', in the biography of 'Ubay b. Ka'b

AbuAbdulQayyum (12 Jun 2008, 3:12 pm):

Salaams just a little somethin to help us out.

Son, have you put it into practice?

'Atâ' narrates that there used to be a young man who used to go to Mother of the Believers 'Â'ishah to ask her questions and she would narrate to him. One day, he came to her to ask her some questions. She said, "Son, have you put into practice what you hear from me yet?" He replied, "No mother, I have not." So she said, "Son, why do you them seek to increase Allah's proof against us and you?!"
