Assalamu Alaikum to all my brothers and sisters in Islam. My name, to put it in full is, Mohammad Kamruzzaman bin Ibrahim Khan. I am a student, currently studying at university on a under-graduate program. I hope to become a journalist and by the grace of my Lord, hope to defend our religion against the bad media coverage we get day in, day out. I hope my Lord will make this a success for me.

I originally had intentions of becoming a Lawyer - a Barrister (not Solicitor, I absolutely hate that job!!), hence the reason why I studied law. However, I realised how corrupt the profession is. Hell, is a price not worth paying.... Moreover, the morals of a lawyer are not always good. I was told by my teacher that Lawyers have to defend anyone that comes their way and win - most are there for the money, nothing else....

I get asked my many what denomination of Islam do I follow.... Well, I'm a Sunni Muslim yet I believe (as Dr Zakir Naik pointed out) that if anyone asks, you should reply 'just Muslim' as all Muslims are equal and we should stand united. I do understand that our beloved prophet (p.b.u.h.) said that there will be 73 different denominations of Islam, but he also said the one group that follows him (p.b.u.h.), will enter Heaven. Let us all stand united and follow our the teachings of our beloved prophet (p.b.u.h.) together, Ameen.

\"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things\". AL-BAQARA (THE COW)
2:256

\"Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,\"
AL-BAQARA (THE COW)
2:155

\"The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will\". AL-BAQARA (THE COW)
2:212

\"Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.\"
AL-AHZAB (THE CLANS, THE COALITION,THE COMBINED FORCES)
33:21

My favourite sport is football, and my favourite players are without a doubt Ronaldinho, Zidane and now Franck Ribery - they are simply brilliant!! Though, as a Manchester United fan - I have to say C.Ronaldo is brilliant also. My other interests include tennis, swimming and all kinds of sports in general! I also like to study comparative religion in my spare time, but at the moment my knowledge is basic...

Dr Zakir Naik is my favourite orator - but I also like Sheikh Yusuf Estes, Sheikh Ahmed Deedat and videos from the Harun Yahya collections. My other favourite book, since my childhood is 'Fantastic Mr Fox', by Roald Dahl! I dont care if it is a childrens book, its still great! But it doesnt compare to the beauty and elegance of the words of my Lord.

I also like reading books from the 'Horrible Histories' collection, they are great fun and very informative!!

I also love art, and I just love to paint! I used to do alot of portraits of people, but now I just stick to landscapes and abstract paintings. And, I love poetry too - I love writing them also.

\"And the believers, men and women, are protecting friends one of another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor-due, and they obey Allah and His messenger. As for these, Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.\" SURAH AT-TAUBAH - 9:71

I hate racism and racist people. I also hate the media prejudices against our religion. When a Muslim person commits a crime, Islam goes on trial. However, when other people commit crimes, religion is not mentioned. Furthermore, I hate the fact that people comment on our religion without knowing the complete facts or context of what they are talking about.

Anyway, Islam is the only religion that talks about equality between all races and gender.

'O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other (not that you may despise each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most Righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). Surah Hujurat 49:13
My favourite music are nasheeds, in particularly Sami Yusuf, Zain Bhikha, Yusuf Islam, Dawud Wharnsby Ali, Ahmed Bukhatir and Native Deen. I also like some nasheeds by Outlandish. Also, my favourite Quran reciter is without a doubt Sheikh Abdur Rahman As Sudais. The Sheikh has the greatest voice I have heard.
Its difficult to choose a favourite
movie but I would say my favourite
movies are The Message, 300 and the
Lord Of The Rings trilogy. Also,
The Kingdom of Heaven.

The Holy Qur'an - come on, can you name me another book that comes close to the genius of the Holy Qur'an? It is the book of all books.

Theres this book, its a true story and probably one of the most most heart breaking tragic human life books Ive ever read. Its called 'The Little Prisoner' and it by Jane Elliott. I just love reading and the 'Auto-Biography of Malcolm X' is a brilliant book, I'll recommend to everyone.
I have studied law, psychology, English literature and history in my A-Levels, aswell as general studies and key skills. I am confident in everything I do because I believe my Lord will help me, if my cause is good.

Also, I can read and write in English and French and and quite basic in Bengali and Spanish. I can understand Hindi and basic Urdu. I also want to learn Qur'anic Arabic so that I can understand the Glorious Qur'an, as I've been told that its better that way (in terms of understanding). However, I'm currently busy with my studies and Islamic studies (you can never learn it all....), Insha Allah one day I will learn to understand Qur'anic arabic.

Ive currently changed my uni course, I was studying History at Goldsmiths College (University of London); but now I'm studying religion at SOAS (University of London).

bro ,

Inshallah you're doing well. I have not replied to your comment(s) and email message(s). The reason is to allow you as much online time to spend on your discussion concerning Deity. I feel with your limited time at the moment, it's best to respond and continue our early talks, at a later stage Inshallah.

May Allah {Azza Wa Jal} give you strengh and success with your debate. Ameen.
