‘Umar Ibn ‘Abdil ‘Azeez said:
“Stop where the people have stopped! For indeed, they stopped upon receiving knowledge. The clear evidences would suffice them, and they were the strongest at manifesting them. If there were any merit in something, then they would be the most deserving of it. So if you say: ‘It was introduced after them’ , then no one introduces something into it except that he has opposed their guidance, and desired other than their example. They have described it from what was sufficient, and they have spoken concerning it - what sufficed. What is above them is excessiveness, and what is below them is inadequacy. Some people have fallen short of them, and so they have drawn away. And others have transgressed them, so they have become extreme. But indeed they were between these two (extremes), upon a straight path.” [Reported by Ibn Qudaamah in Al Burhaan li Bayaanil Qur’aan (p. 88-89). ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATUH "Behold in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alteration of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which ALLAH sends down from the skies and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds and the clouds which they trails like their slaves between the sky and the earth; (here) indeed are the signs for a people that are wise. For protection from satan and enchantment
It has been narrated by the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) that one who recites the following dua Will be saved from the wickness of Satan. Jin and wicked persons. Transliteration: BISMILLA HIR RAHMAN NIR RAHIM LAA ILA-HA IL-LAL -LAHO ALAIHE TAVAKKALTO WA HOVA RAB-BUL AZEEM, MAASHAA ALLAHO KANNA WA MAA-LAM YASHA'LAM YAKOON ASHHADO ANNAL LAHA QAD AHAATA BE-KOOLLE SHAI-IN ILMAA ALLA-HOOMA INNI A'OOZO BEKA MIN SHARRE NAFSEE WA MIN SHAREE KOOLLE DAABBATIN ANTAAAKHE-ZOO BENA SECATEHA INNA RABBI ALAA SIRATIM MOOSTAQEEM In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. There is no god but Allah. I turst in Him for He is the Lord of the throne; whatever He wishes it happens and whatever He does not desire does not happen. I bear witness that indeed Allah has power over everything and indeed his Knowledge encompasses everything. O’ my Lord I seek Thy refuge from the evil of myself and from the evil of every creature of the earth who is under Your control and power. In the way of my Lord is the right path. ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATUH 'Anas-ibn-Mlaik narrates from the Messenger of Allah [sallallahu alaihi wa sallam] who said: "Accept six things from me, then I will accept (and guarantee) the entrance of Heaven for you: When you speak, tell no lies. When you promise, do not break it. When you are trusted (by others), be honest. Guard your modesty. Lower your eyes (from committing sin). Hold your hands and tongues." Khisal-i-Saduq, p. 321
