Anyway, that is unrelated, but I used to hear those kind of comments alllll the time, even before I reverted. If i was in a hurry, I would just curtly reply "Ok." or "Thanks.", if I was in a better mood and felt like being a brat, I would nod and solemnly reply "yes, allllll night long!"

I really don't know what sort of response they're looking for. I always feel like it's a secret code, like I should reply with something about the rain in Spain falling mainly on the plains.
wasalaam,
I get ur point sis. May Allah keep u patient inshAllah. But "cheeses"? come on sis.
Bismillah hir Rahmanir Rahim,
Ah man! I was about to line up behind you sister with a really big funny slap on the back for your cool sarcasm, and then Aaliyah stopped me with her common sense contribution (which was also funny) which made me remember Im actually a responsible Muslim (em, sort of).
I guess I'll have to wait until Aaliyah's not looking and then lay into the next silly theologian you encounter. Oh Im having a weird weird day.......
Wasallam Aleikom,

i sorta get ur point, it is reallly annoying. However, it's best to ignore those kind of people since there is no debating with them. They don't want to knwo whaty ou think of Jesus. I usually answer; You think? I love him too:)
One time this woman came to me really aggressively and started naggin "u know Jesus is the only person who died for your sins" and i was like... eh... well, i dont need no one to die for my sins. but hey, good for u:P like, what are you supposed to say?
But since then i've learned it's better to smile and walk on. No need to make fun of other's religion. THe best dawa we can make is by being civil even (and especially) with the people we disagree with.
