wa aleikum as-salam wa rahmatillahi wa barakatuh I go to ICPC that it up in Paterson, NJ it's right off of Route 4 and turns into Martin Luther King Blvd. Masha'Allah I love the Masjid. I would defend the Imam to my last dying day because I know he's a good knowledgable man. He has done a lot of Da3wah MashaAllah. You should check it out. Go to the web site www.icpc.com you can see what programs they have. The only thing though is I don't know when they have the brother classes in English. I would recommend calling. I know Br. Muhammad El Filali used to do them on Wednesday nights and possibly Friday nights before or after Isha. Friday nights I know there is nothing in English because I go to the sister's halaqa. I like the Masjid in Newark, Masjid Rahmah but I don't make it out that way too often. ICPC is a little far from your way. I would like to visit the Masjid in Asbury park my grandma has mentioned interfaith groups going on which my Masjid does that. Alhamdulillah.

I love to read stories on how people came to Islam. I actually started learning about Islam at the age of 16. I was too scared to convert right away because I knew I had the duty of wearing hijab and I wasn't ready. Then I found out that you can wear it when you are ready... took the shahada that day... moral of the story... don't be so strict with people interested in Islam :-)
