Always hoping for Allah's guidance
Assalam aleikum,
Today was a bit sad for me, one of my good friends decided to turn to atheism. He says he doesnt care about punishment or heaven, he doesnt want any religion, he says he is too lazy to learn any religion he just wants his peace of mind.I told him Islam isnt about heaven and hell....anyway I couldnt tell him much coz i didnt want to pressure him.
Inshala may Allah never leave us to make any step or decision without His guidance. Brothers and sisters let us always remember to say "Audhu billahi Minashaitani rajim" because he is our greatest enemy ever ready to lead us astray.
wa alaikum asalaam,
Wow sister, that's sad. I hope he sees the truth inshAllah, without Allah's help we defintely won't be able to make it. I was wondering should we be afraid of him? I mean I don't want to meet him, his whisperings are enough
But subhanAllah all those people he lead astray just by urging them to do good, makes me feel a bit uneasy!!

it is a sad day for me as well... my best friend has decalred again that islam seems to be dark and threatning...
i had sent him a few books on islam, which are very well known... like the famous quran translation and so on... and from reading them he now thinks islam is evil like all other religions, it uses scare tactics... to make people follow it... and promises punishment to those who dont do what it says
I feel i have failed him... Ihe wasnt thinking that before he got the books.... I dont understand... they are recognized books.... they always have them at islamic conferences....for people to take...
i dont understand how he .. unlike so many others... got the opposite reaction to islam... when so many others have been guided to it... or at least began to understand it.... and not fear it... instead he now hates it...
i dont understand
