Allah, the Exalted, says: "O you who believe! Endure and be more patient..". (3:200) "And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirun (the patient)". (2:155) "Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning.'' (39:10) "And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives, that would truly be from the things recommended by Allah.'' (42:43) "Seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer). Truly, Allah is with As-Sabirun (the patient).'' (2:153) "And surely, We shall try you till We test those who strive hard (for the Cause of Allah) and As-Sabirun (the patient)'' (47:31)

With the Name of ALLAH, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful As salaamualaikum wa rehmatullahi wa barkatuhu Al QuranNot upon you (Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is their guidance, but ALLAH guides whom He wills. And whatever you spend in good, it is for yourselves, when you spend not except seeking ALLAH's Countenance. And whatever you spend in good, it will be repaid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged. (Charity is) for Fuqara (the poor), who in ALLAH's Cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land (for trade or work). The one who knows them not, thinks that they are rich because of their modesty. You may know them by their mark, they do not beg of people at all. And whatever you spend in good, surely ALLAH knows it well.Translation of Surah Al-Baqarah, Verses 272-274 -- Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said,"Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence.... . Please help this sister to get a 5000$ scolarship!
here's her original post on a muslim parenting forum: Assalam Alaikum, As you may know, I am a mother of two, and I'm currently pursuing my MA in English. My husband and I, have to pay for my tuition out of pocket, as we refuse to accept loans based on Riba. I recently entered a scholarship contest. The theme was "What Makes U Special." You can help me win a scholarship just by watching this video. The entry that secures the most views will win a $5,000 scholarship. All you have to do is view the video, available at this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO5oP8YlxR8 If you want to help even more, you can forward this video to everyone you know. Every view helps. If you have a blog, facebook, myspace page or website, I would certainly appreciate a link

Mubrook on your recent marriage Sister! May Allah continue to bless you & your family! May Allah bless the blended family & allow you to prosper!!!! My family is also a blended family & like you my husband married me when my kids were teens. It takes a REAL man to embrace a marriage that includes teens, as there are so many negative stereotypes about the "struggle" of coming into such a family. But mashallah, I'm glad you found someone.
