Please help this sister to get a 5000$ scolarship! here's her original post on a muslim parenting forum: Assalam Alaikum, As you may know, I am a mother of two, and I'm currently pursuing my MA in English. My husband and I, have to pay for my tuition out of pocket, as we refuse to accept loans based on Riba. I recently entered a scholarship contest. The theme was "What Makes U Special." Yeah, I converted to Islam without any hesitations. By the way, I couldn't send you a private message reply so I'm just sending you a comment on your guest book, I hope that's okay!
 It has been a difficult yet amazing journey. I'm starting to wear a hijab but my parents are a little worried, they think I will be "subject to ridicule". But if it makes Allah happy when I guard my modesty, inshallah I will start being a full-time hijabi when I get used to being a Muslim. That's cool, you have an Australian friend. And also cool that you're from Singapore, I've been there so many times and I'm planning to perhaps work there as an English teacher someday. Hmm, not much to say about Australia really. I've lived here all my life and there isn't really much to say about it. Just that it's getting colder these days as winter approaches.  Salam. Kimi.
