They say change begins today

Apparently I'm still stuck on yesteryear

Cuz thousands of todays have passed

But I have seen not one

Funny...

I used to collect clocks cuz there never seemed to be enough time

But in reality

That's all there is

The thought of tomorrow cringes my soul

Cuz it'll never come

So I despise every tick tock

That mocks

A once worthwhile time

But then again God is time

So who am I

To despise

That which is the very reason I'm alive

And with that in mind

Time is of the essence

So in essence

God is making a fool of my current state of mind

Waiting for me to finally

Wake up
