I was sitting with 'Umar and a funeral procession passed by. The people praised the deceased. 'Umar said, "It has been affirmed" (Paradise). Then another funeral procession passed by. The people praised the deceased. 'Umar said, "It has been affirmed." (Paradise). Then another funeral procession passed by. The people praised the deceased. 'Umar said, "It has been affirmed (Paradise)." Then a third funeral procession passed by and the people talked badly of the deceased. 'Umar said, "It has been affirmed (Hell)." I asked Umar, "O chief of the believers! What has been affirmed?" He said, "I have said what the Prophet said. He said, 'Allah will admit into paradise any Muslim whose good character is attested by four persons.' We asked the Prophet, 'If there were three witnesses only?' He said, 'Even three.' We asked, 'If there were two only?' He said, 'Even two.' But we did not ask him about one witness." It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces to the East and the West; but righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Scripture and the Prophets; and giveth his wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and to orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those who ask, and to set slaves free; and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor due. And those who keep their treaty when they make one, and the patient in tribulation and adversity and time of stress. Such are they who are sincere. Such are the God fearing [Qur'an 2:177] Lo! those who believe and do good works and establish worship and pay the poor due, their reward is with their Lord and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve [Qur'an 2:277] Muأ¢â‚¬â„¢aawiyyah radiallaahu anhu who said: The Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu alaihi was sallam said, أ¢â‚¬إ“He who Allaah wants good for He gives him understanding of the religion.أ¢â‚¬آ؟ Our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the hereafter, and save us from the torment of fire. How is your family doing? Its good to hear from you.. Hey are you going to the Texas Dawah conference??? I would love to go, I have two frends that are going Insha'Allah. Okay about your question, I don't know too much is it for sisters or for brothers?? for brothers its always easier then for sisters. One place you can go is defently to Yemen, to the capital in Sana. Heard the weather is great there. Its like San Fran weather. Mecca is a good place for sisters, but the thing is you need a Maher. I just found out that at school in Pakistan is good, in the capital in Islamibad. Actually if you know a brother in Hustin by the name of Itazar he is actually going Insha'Allah to Pakistan to study. I could find out more, like also Syria, and Egypt, I have a friend that might be going there also. I will ask him and find out Insha'Allah.
