I got so heated

Salaam All

 Yesterday I went to my friends house- they are muslims...

 

Now just to let everyone know here... How I am passionate about islam here is the same at offline... I DON'T LIKE WHEN MUSLIMS PUT DOWN ANOTHER MUSLIM OR BELIEFS...

You could be any sect group or believe how ever.... If you believe in Allah (SWT) and the Prophet as the last Messenger... You are muslims...

 

Anywho.... So my friends husband was talking about Islam and covering... HE said  " I don't like the Nija look"

Now all the muslims at the table was laugh...and my aunty was like 'It's so Wahhabi... blah blah blah.... You shouldn't cover your face....

I say but the wives of the Prophet did.... so how can it be wrong for Muslimahs to wear it... Many different schools and beliefs- some say it's farid and some say sunnah...

Then she went on the Shaykh said our face is from God so why cover it....and I was like the 4 Schools of Thought even allowed it.

(Now The Shaykh she speak of I know has a High respect to the 4 Schools of thought...and I spoken to other students who told me different... then what my aunty said.. One Student said  The Shaykh said if a sister wants to wear the niqab... She can as long as it doesn't bring harm)

 But I wasn't going to get into with my aunty- I have a lot of respect for her...

I said to him " That's a very derogatory comment. That's not right. If muslimah feels to wear the niqab it has NOTHING TO DO WITH SECT/ Wahhabis or what ever.... She may not be part of any of that but find peace in it... That's a very ignoratn comment...

 

he was like 'No it's not... I don't understand why they wear it..."

My response "Because some do.."

He paused and said'  I know you like wearing it and I am sorry about my comment... I just don't get it based on what I learn"

 Now his learning is from muslims that's not really practicing anything.... No he never went to a mosque and he became muslim the day of his wedding just to marry my friend who was born muslim...

So really?!?!

But I'm not ever care about that... I just hate to hear muslims down other muslims... it's like saying "I am better"

When no one is... I think it's mean when some pick on Muslimahs that don't wear Hijab at all...

And Saying oh they're not really muslim.

 

MEAN stuff... I dont get how and why muslims like to tear each other apart.... it's upsetting.

 

As a Niqabi  I swear people love talking about us.... One brother wrote me and said some people either feel sorry for you or a repulsed by you... (Niqabies that is)... and I'm like but that would go hand in hand for all muslims... or none muslims

 We're not here on the earth to Please freaking people... If wear the hijab, niqab, praying  5+ times a day, dhikr Allah all day, learn from a Shaykh (about Adhab, manners, ego, and how not ot get angry)   make you at peace with Islam and yourself... 

Who are any of us to take that away from you....

Why do muslims enjoy downing each other... My Gosh!!!

And this is across the board... I don't like it... even in my blogs I have expressed this...and I never picked a side when in comes to muslims fighting each other and calling each names.... and yes in the past I have deleted some comment because to me it would have been hurtful to other muslims...

But yes.. I had to check my friends husband real quick
