The Jinn.. The Angel

Date: 18 Aug 2008, 3:36 am / Mood: artistic

As Salaamu Alaikum

It's funny when any muslim mentions "Jinn" - cold trail traces their spine or goose bumps form and we all seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan... Hence Iblis is a Jinn

So before I start ( I seek refuge in Allah (SWT) from the cursed Jinn- ameen).

Do we fear them? Are we afraid of them? Or is it that we're the only ones (other then wiccan) actually believe they exist?

Now if we fear them- then shouldn't we then fear the angels? As I was taught some angels are not pretty or beautiful and christian society protrays.... The Angel Grabriel (AS) took the form of a clean man when it came to the Prophet Jesus (AS) and Al-Nabi (SAW).

But we don't fear the angels...

It's amazing how others views influence us and our  way of thinking.  Arab's methodology on the spiritual side plays into muslim world... The Quran mentions the Jinn in various ayats. Human and Jinns. We're made of Clay and their made of Smokeless flame of  fire... But we both unlike angels have the freedom to choose.

Indeed We created man from dried clay of black smooth mud. And We created the Jinn before that from the smokeless flame of fire"

[Surah Al-Hijr 15:26-27]

Bosth of us were created to only worship Allah

"I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to worship Me"

[Surah Ad-Dhariyat, 51:56]

Subhallah

Now on a side note: Allah is Most Gracious- and the lord of all creations... Ya Allah I only worship you....

Angels were created from light, Jinns created from smokelss flame of fire and Mankind the last was created from CLAY.

Light, Fire, and Dirt... All of these elements exist on the planet we call home. Talk about an Amazing,,,,,

Lets remember there are Good jinns and bad jinns... Muslims Jinns and those that follow Shaytan.

And for Solomon the wind was given, traveling one month coming and one month going, and We caused a spring of tar to flow for him. And from among the Jinn are those that worked for him by his Lord's leave; and any one of them who turns from Our commands, We shall cause him to taste the retribution of the Fire. They made for him what he desired of enclosures, and statues, and pools of deep reservoirs, and heavy pots. “O family of David, work to show thanks.” Only a few of My servants are appreciative. Then, when We decreed death for him, nothing informed them of his death until a worm kept eating from his staff, so when he fell down, the Jinn realised that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in the humiliating retribution." (34:12-14)

Here are some facts about the Jinns...

Jinn are beings made of energy "Plasma" that is derived from smokeless fire;

Jinn were created before mankind to serve God;

Jinn were able to travel the galaxy and listen-in on God's commands to His angels;

Jinn overheard God's declaration that humans are to be the beings of authority on the planet Earth;

Jinn opposed God's judgment and Satan pleaded with God that he and his kind be allowed to remain on Earth so as to prove that mankind is unworthy;

God granted Satan's request, with restriction on the movement of Jinn to this universe only;

Jinn remain mainly invisible to the human eye unless they chose to be seen.

Jinn may affect physical items, move objects and mold matter into useful tools;

Jinn camp is has been split between those who repented to God and those who insist on Satan's way;

Human messengers are sent not only to revert mankind, but also to revert Jinn;

Jinn and humans may communicate based on the fact that humans welcome such communication.  (This last one kind of got me in a loop. The ony way a human and a jinn can interact is if a human being welcomes it... but that's different for being pocessed...jinns jumping in the a weak  ones body. that's not welcomed... Communicating is talking to one another...now here's where the goose bumps form... Who really wants to communicate to with a Good Jinn..or a Muslim One....Could you imagine the conversation and looking at one with our human eyes.  Now I was those Jinns whose muslim have one small stub of a horn in the center of their head. and I want to say they are clean looking... but don't quote me on that... I learned this in Malays)

Now on to Angels... My favorite Angel of ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Angel Mikhael!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't ask me why- but when I read about this Angel.. I simple fell in love with It and the Name... Angel Michael in english. He's in charge of our earthly nourishments.. Rain and so forth

OF course one should send Blessing to the Angel Grabiel- for he was the Angel that went to the Prophets (AS).

I pray that when it's my turn to leave this eather Izraeel  (Angel of death) would send an angel from his Right side and not the angel from his left.

On Angel I don't ever want to meet is Maleek- the Guardian of Hell Fire. For a long time I used to think Shaytan would rule hell fire... Christians belief but it's not True... Maleek is the one who would be in charge.. Shaytan and all his followers would be in hell fire.  He's scary looking, Maleek that is...

Munkir and Nankir- the ones that will meets the souls in the grave. basically pop quizzing the slaves of Allah...

Raqeeb and Ateed- the angels that are writing our good deeds and bad deeds.

Raqeeb write the good and Ateed writes our bad. They work together- for every bad deed we make they would wait till we make a good one with in the sametime just to erase the bad.

They sit on our shoulder- I remember when my mom told us ( her class) about them- We all looked at our shoulders.

And the Imam said never spit on your right but spit on your left... and all i could think about is if I spit on my left I would spit on my angel... Didn't want to do that..LOL... Not to sound gross but I would tilt my left shoulder back if I really need to spit... LOL

When we stripped down... angels leave the room- but I wonder if the ones on our shoulder leave too... I believe so... much like the dog- a dog in the house angels don't enter... but wait outside of the home...

We go to the bathroom they don't enter...

I guess you can say they only record what they see and hear and know... all the other Times Allah (SWT) is watch what they cannot write... much like our thinking... They can't record what we are thinking but Allah (SWT) is all know and HE knows what in our heart and mind...

 Allahu Akbar!!!

I woke up today wondering - what if a Muslim  Jinn wanted to see what it would be like to be a muslim human being...

My creative mind started flowing and i thought hmmmmmmmmmmm why not make a short story about such a Jinn...  So first to do that I must understand who and what they are. Of course if a write the story it would be totally fictional/ fantasy.

I still have another project on hold- My series about 4 muslims living in the west. MashAllah I have the blue print down for the first novel...  It's just putting it all together... Writers block.

Now InshAllah I will start a blue print on my novel "DJinn." I think i would make this one sweet, comical, sincere but also have the readers enter a whole other world like an escape of this world and enter the spiritual one... sorta speak...
