General Info

I have just finished university, and am trying to learn more about my faith and hopefully meet more muslims (submitters to the Divine Truth) who can guide me along the way. I find it quite hard sometimes to stick to my path, I have a natural inclination to wandering off or stopping still for too long, mainly out of arrogance or misguidance... anyway, inshallah I can overcome this trait. Im interested in straight Islam, straight islam, Sufi Islam, for me islam is the perfect religion, I just have to make sure that Islam is too :)

At the moment I'm looking for a job so inshallah, I can decide what next move to make :p Travelling maybe, working abroad, who knows...

Also I'm not looking for a wife, or anything, just friendship/networking/guidance.

Likes

Learning languages, swimming, thinking, cooking, Tawhid, growing closer to Allah...

Dislikes

Modern urban expanses, as soon as people get together away from nature and God, thats pretty certain to lead down the wrong path for humanity... Apart from that, anything that goes against the divine path (but not in an intolerant way, that would just be hypocritical :p). All superstition and dogma - if beliefs can't be allied by the most divine and absolute reasoning, they cannot be considered ultimate truth, and as such cannot be presented as if they are, no matter how apparently holy the source material is.

Audios

Don't listen to music anymore, not for dogmatic reasons, but for personal spiritual ones.

Videos

Very rarely find movies I love anymore. Gladiator is good... off the top of my head.... simple honest poetry and dramas too... like Iranian/Italian neo-realist movies... and British movies from yesteryear... old b+w comedies can be pretty good too... and far-fetched or visionary movies....I have an adolescent penchant for epic psychological war movies like Apocalypse Now too... but none of this is really important, I'm just writing stream of consciousness :p

Books

I read all kinds, books of all faiths (at the moment I'm reading Maimonides and a book on Zoroastrianism), languages (I love learning languages, if I could be fluent in Greek, Arabic, Chinese, German and Polish, I would be happy :D), also biology, maths, history, architecture etc... and novels/philosophical works (Voltaire, Pythagoras, Confucius, Ibn Senna etc....)
