As salaamu alaykum, Just dropping some ayaats about the commands of Allah. Sometimes we give salaams to other muslims and then we do not get salaams in return. At the masjid, at the store, on the streets. Here are the ayaats. "When those come to thee who believe in Our signs, Say: "Peace be on you: Your Lord hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) mercy: verily, if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented, and amend (his conduct), lo! He is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful." Qur'an 6:84 "When a (courteous) greeting is offered you, meet it with a greeting still more courteous, or (at least) of equal courtesy. God takes careful account of all things." Qur'an 4:86 Whoever does not greet muslims or return the greeting with an equal or better greeting, they are disobeying Allah. Warn them. Show them from Qur'an, if they still don't return your salaams, then atleast you keep obeying Allah by continue-ing to give them salaams. Allah is keeping track of all these things.
