I am proud Muslima living in the states. Like many others, I strive for the opportunity to live in the land of Muslims. I also strive for my life to revolve around this deen, not vice versa. InshaAllah I would like network with other Muslims worldwide.
All things Islam: Those that aren't afraid to show they are MUSLIM, publicly, as well as privately.
Those that are afraid to practice this deen publicly. Those that attempt to make excuses for "controversial" things within this deen that we should fully accept, uphold and defend.

I dislike the "sexy niqab" look. Meaning, those that have their eyebrows carefully shaped and eyes decorated for added emphasis. Sisters should decide if they want to be unnoticed with the niqab as a means of added modesty OR noticed as a form of mysterious sex appeal and allure. I support niqab if worn for the right reasons.

As salaamu alaikum, barakallahu fiykum for the add to the favs. May Allah reward you and your family with jannah and forgive us of our sins aamin.

Assalamou alaikum wr wb. I pray this msg reaches you while you are enjoying the best of health & imaan. May Allah increase your reward with respect to the comment you made on the "sexy niqaab look". Its very much true for some of the sisters, unfortunately. Today I want to share with you this hadith of Abu Huraira (ra) as reported by Muslim, in which the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: “By the One in whose hands is my soul! None of you can enter Jannah until you believe and none of you can believe until you love each other for Allah’s sake. Shall I not direct you to something, which if you do it, will bring love between you? Do spread the salutations among you”. Saying salaam to a Muslim/Muslimah is like loving him/her for the sake of Allah. It also shows that you love this particular servant of Allah due to his/her imaan and obedience to Allah. So sister, each time when you see that I have visited your MuslimSpace page, then do consider that its my way to say salaam to you over and over again, even though I'll not be writing it down in your guestbook. Take care. Ma’assalama.
