Forced to Take off Hijab At School.is this right?

I go to Public non muslim school.

I was told i am not allowed to wear hijab to school because students may feel "uncomfortable" and becauase i am only muslim in school.



The Vice Princable wrote statement on why i am muslim , when i converted, who my muslim friends their names, numbers, adresses ect:

why i converted, how i found out on islam ect ect:



The school told me also i am not allowed to wear hijab to school since it isn't school uniform.



On Thrusday morning it was announced on radio its now against law for public/private schools to make muslim students not allowed to wear islamic dress like hijab or berrka in class.



So on last day of school (Friday) i came to school with hijab, it is blue like uniform. Every teacher was fine with it except my co-ordinator.



He told me 'What did we say on you wear hijab to school?Take it off now.'

I got so upset and insulted i cried & wouldnt speak to him

then he was ask why i was upsets



He kept say he is really sorry but i know my co-ordinator and the vice princable don't like the fact i am muslim!



What do you brothers and sisters think on this?

I am insulted the school forced me to take hijab off. they were going to suspend me if i did not!

thanks. everyone. when my father goes to work at wednsday i will ask mother for me to wear hijab!

may allah help you. insha allah, try to contact the local muslim community leader to help you if you can.

are you in the US? if so, they cannot do this to you, freedom of religion (most like canada, uk, and australia too). they tried to give me ##### when i was in high school, i fought and won (no court stuff, just proof from their own student handbook!) do your research and fight them with the knowledge. but it is better to not be in public school if at all possible for you. have a male relative help you out if you can, insha allah. barak allahu feek
