ACTION REQUIRED TO PROTECT PROPHET MOHAMED (SAAW)

Assalamu alaikum everyone …

WIKIPEDIA site has published the image of our prophet Mohammad  (saaw). As we all know, it is HARAM to depict or imitate images or pictures of ANY of the prophets …. Therefore we need your help IMMEDIAELY …

Please sign the petition on the bottom link to have the pictures removed. We need 10,000 signatures to get pictures of Prophet be removed from WIKIPEDIA.

So far only very few signatures have been obtained.  Please act now! JAZAKALLAHU KHAIRA. Also please forward the link to all your Muslim contacts.

When signing the petition, you can write a comment to demand the removal of the pictures … here is what I wrote as an example .. feel free to use it as guidelines but change it a little bit so that they don’t think only one person is pretending to be many people and posting the same comment ..

Please understand and respect the Islamic tradition of not publishing or imitating the pictures or images of ANY of the prophets (that include Mohamed, Jesus, Moses, Ibrahim, Adam, Noah, David, .... peace be upon all of them)

I wish you consulted first with an Islamic scholar before publishing such images ... this is the least expected courtesy when it comes to religion and even intellectual properties ...

Please understand that it is sinful and prohibited to draw or paint or imitate the images of the prophets in any way or shape or form ... good or bad ...

please remove the images immediately ..
