an Advice to myself and to others

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatuh all my brothers and sisters

today .. i saw this video from a british ex-minister .. talking about Islam .. what struck me most .. was his talk about priorities that Muslims should place in their life

he said that we are focusing so much on donia (this life) and forgetting the akhira (the day of judgement and the day after) ... and this is the wrong priority ...

he is totally right and i am the first to admit i make this mistake all the time ... until recently i was focused on work, business, dancing and music .. before i wake up and realize that i forgot my Islam .. and i need to go back to my roots ..

i am making effort .. i started praying 5 times a day .. praying all sunnahs .. fasting all sunnahs .. reading more Quran .. and watching islamic videos

however, sometimes .. i do forget .. i think about my next job .. or how to make more money .. or a business .. or food ... or every day life stuff ...

yes its ok to take care of our life ... Islam tells us to take care of our life .. but also not to forget about the more important and permant life ... the after-life ...  so we need to put all this in perspective and set our priorities right

anyway ... watch the video brothers and sisters .. and comment on it if you want ...
