Are you pleased with the life of this World rather than the Hereafter? Little is the enjoyment of the life of this World as compared with the Hereafter, if only you knew.'(Quran 9:38)

About Me:
"DO PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY WILL BE LEFT ALONE BECAUSE THEY SAY: "WE BELIEVE", AND WILL NOT BE TESTED. AND WE INDEED TESTED THOSE WHO WERE BEFORE THEM. AND ALLAH WILL CERTAINLY MAKE(IT) KNOWN(THE TRUTH OF) THOSE WHO ARE TRUE, AND WILL CERTAINLY MAKE(IT) KNOWN(THE FALSEHOOD OF) THOSE WHO ARE LIARS. (ALTHOUGH ALLAH KNOWNS ALL THAT BEFORE PUTTING THEM TO TEST)." (29:2-3)
'CERTAINLY, WE SHALL TEST YOU WITH FEAR, HUNGER, LOSS OF WEALTH, LIVES AND FRUITS; BUT GIVE GLAD TIDINGS TO THE PATIENT-THOSE WHO, WHEN AFFLICTED WITH CALAMITY SAY, "TRULY TO ALLAH WE BELONG, AND TRULY TO HIM SHALL WE RETURN." IT IS THOSE WHO WILL BE AWARDED BLESSINGS AND MERCY FROM THEIR LORD; AND IT IS THOSE WHO ARE THE GUIDED ONES.' (2:155-157)
Verses where hijab has been mentioned in the Quran by Allah SWT
The word hijab actually means veil in arabic; It is also a word used to describe the dress of muslim women. There are many conditions of hijab which sisters should follow inshallah. With the help of Allah SWT i will hopefully aim to cover them all inshallah.
Hijab can be split into 2 sections; Outer hijab and inner hijab. Many of us cover our hair alone and call it hijab; but when looking at the examples of the mothers of the belivers (WHO WE AS SISTERS SHOULD AIM 2 FOLLOW THE EXAMPLES OF INSHALLAH) this is not correct. Allah SWT commanded the Prophet(SAW): "O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the belivers to draw their Jalabib over their bodies. That will be better that they should be known so as not to be annoyed. And allah is ever oft-forgiving, most merciful." (Surah 33:V.59) Here Allah tells His Messenger(SAW) to command the believing women, especially his wives and daughters, because of their position of honor, to draw their jilbabs over their bodies, so that they will be distinct in their appearance from the women of Jahiliyyah and from slave women.
Conditions:
1. It must cover you from head to toe.
2. It should be loose; loose enough 2 cover another sister with. This is evident from the hadith, when the Prophet(SAW) told sisters, at the eid prayer, to cover their fellow sisters, if they were not covered, with their jilbabs. Anything showing any part of a womens assets (bossoms, bum, limbs etc) is haram! (refering to the sisters who wear loose clothing, like long tops etc with a head cover thinking it is Hijab)
The prophet(SAW) once recieved a thick garment as a gift. He gave it to Osama Bin Zayd who in turn gave it to his wife. When asked by the prophet(SAW) why he did not wear it, Osama indicated that he gave it to his wife. The rusul(SAW) then said to Osama, "ask her to use a gholah (a thick fabric worn under the dress, to prevent it from describing the shape of her body) under it (the garment) for I fear it (the garment) may describe the size of her bones."
3.The Hijab should not be transparent; so to reveal the colour of her skin or the shape of her bones. Narrated by Sahih At tabarabi: The prophet(SAW) said: "In later (generations) of my ummah, there will be women who will dressed but naked. On top of their heads (what looks) like camel humps. Curse them for they are truely cursed!"
In another version, it adds: "They will not enter into paradise or (even) get a smell of it.
When the rusul(SAW) saw a bride in a thin dress, he said "she is not a woman who belives in surat Al-Nur (surah talks of hijab). On another occasion the rusul(SAW) said: "If you are believers, then these are not believers clothing." This was said to a woman of bani tameem tribe who came to visit Aishah(RA)
4. The Hijab should not be bright; as this will draw attention to you (especially from the men) and this is not the essence of hijab. The main purpose of hijab is to prevent sisters from drawing attention to themselves; therefore only dark colours (like dark blue, green etc not dark pink lol. Although there is more reward in wearing black) should be worn and the jilbab should not be decorative, attractive or fashionable!
Inner Hijab:
Certainly, talking in a soft, alluring voice or, conversely talking and laughing too loudly can put across the wrong message. The Quran forbids using a soft voice: "..If you do fear (Allah), be not too complaisant of speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire, but speak a speech (that is) just" (Surah 33:32).
Hijab isn't just a fashion, it's an attitude! While clothes are important, we have to remember that there's more to being a muslim woman than just wearing a scarf and a long dress. The clothes should remind us to behave in a islamic manner at all times, wherever we are. Sisters who are not yet wearing Hijab can still work towards the 'inner hijab', very often the 'outer hijab' will follow in due course. INSHALLAH
Subhanallah, we should not feel discouraged to wear the hijab or the niqaab following recent issues surrounding it in the media. Amr bin Al-'Aas(RA) said: "One day we were with the Messenger of Allah(SAW) on this mountain path when he said: 'Look! Do you see anything?' We said: 'We see a crow that is very strange. Its beak and its legs are red.' So Allah's Messenger(SAW) said: 'No one among women will enter paradise except for those who have the similitude of this crow in strangness.'" [Reported by Ahmad (4/197) and Abu Ya'laa (1/349), and authenticated by Al-Albaanee in as-Saheehah (4/1850)]. Allah SWT has told us that we will be reward for our patients inshallah. So dont fear noone but Allah SWT and never feel no shyness when it comes to islam inshallah.
May Allah SWT forgive me if ihave stated anything which is untrue Inshallah; and remember that I always remind myself be4 i remind anyone else.
I love u all for the sake of Allah

ASALAAM WA ALAYCUM MY BEAUTIFUL BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ISLAM, plz read dis as noone in this world knows wen the angel of death will come 2 dem. So live every second like it is your last and gain a balance of love and fear for Allah SWT. REMEMBER ALLAH SWT IS THE MOST GRACIOUS THE MOST MERCIFUL, so repent and inshallah Allah will accept; but also remember that he is THE MOST SEVERE PUNISHER!!!!
It was early in the morning at four. When death knocked upon a bedroom door.
"Who is there?" the sleeping one cried. "I'm the Angel of Death, let me inside."
At once, the man began to shiver, as one sweating in deadly fever, he
shouted to his sleeping wife, "Don't let him take away my life."
"Please go away, O Angel of Death! Leave me alone, I'm not ready yet.
My family on me depend, give me a chance, O please prepense!"
The Angel knocked again and again, "Friend! I'll take your life without a pain,
'It is your soul Allah require, I come not with my own desire.
Bewildered, the man began to cry, "O Angel! I'm so afraid to die
I'll give you gold and be your slave, don't send me to the unlit grave."
"Let me in, O Friend!" the Angel said, "Open the door, get up from your bed.
If you do not allow me in, I will walk through it, like a Jinn."
The man held a gun in his right hand, ready to defy the Angel's stand,
"I'll point my gun, towards your head. You dare come in, I'll shoot you dead."
By now, the Angel was in the room, Saying,
"O Friend! prepare for your doom. Foolish man, Angels never die,
Put down your gun and do not sigh." "Why are you afraid! Tell me O man,
to die according to Allah's plan? Come, smile at me, do not be grim,
be happy to return to Him."
"O Angel! I bow my head in shame, I had no time to take Allah's name.
From morn till dusk I made my wealth, not even caring for my health."
"Allah's commands I never obeyed nor five times a day I ever prayed.
A Ramadan came and Ramadan went but no time had I to repent."
"The Haj was already fard on me But I would not part with my money.
All charities I did ignore taking usury more and more."
"Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine with flirting women I sat to dine.
O Angel! I appeal to you spare my life for a year or two."
"The Laws of Qur'an I will obey, I'll begin Salat this very day.
My Fast and Haj, I will complete, and keep away from self conceit."
"I will refrain from usury, and give all my wealth to charity, wine
and wenches I will detest, Allah's oneness I will attest."
"We Angels do what Allah demands, we cannot go against His commands.
Death is ordained for everyone, father, mother, daughter or son."
"I'm afraid, this moment is your last, now be reminded, of your past.
I do understand your fears but it is now too late for tears."
"You lived in this world, two score and more, Never did you, your people adore.
Your parents, you did not obey, hungry beggars, you turned away."
"Your two ill-gotten, female offsprings, in night-clubs, for livelihood they sing.
Instead of making more Muslims, you made your children non-Muslims."
"You ignored the Mu'athin's Athaan, nor did you read the Holy Qur'an.
Breaking promises all your life, backbiting friends, and causing strife."
"From hoarded goods, great profits you made, and your poor workers,
you underpaid. Horses and cards were your leisure,
money-making was your pleasure."
"You ate vitamins and grew more fat, with the very sick, you never sat.
A pint of blood you never gave, which could a little baby save."
"O human, you have done enough wrong, you bought good properties for a song.
When the farmers appealed to you, you did not have mercy, 'tis true."
"Paradise for you? I cannot tell, undoubtedly you will dwell in hell.
There's no time for you to repent, I'll take your soul for which I'm sent."
The ending, however, is very sad. Eventually the man became mad.
With a cry, he jumped out of bed. And suddenly, he fell down dead.
O Reader! take a moral from here, you never know, your end may be near.
Change your living and make amends, for heaven, on your deeds depends.
u never know who Allah SWT will take next!!

Jerusalem, you are our hope
Jerusalem will return to our nation
We will purify your virgin ground
And will run up on you our flags
Have patience sons of Palestine
Allah will relieve our agonies
Jerusalem will return to be our home
And will return to be our country
The dark night will never come
Except the dawn follows it with its brightness

Assalamou alaikum wr wb,
Jazak Allah all for your contribution and/or for taking the time to read it even it you did not contribute. May Allah (swt) increase the rewards of the brothers & sisters involved! Like I said before, the purpose was not only to share the truth but also to initiate a debate so that the Muslims can enrich their knowledge and use this knowledge for dawah.
Shukran sister for reminding the brothers to fear Allah (swt) & not to abuse the permissibility to look at a woman without restriction when proposing. Indeed we should fear Allah (swt) at all times.
Thank you Muxlim for enabling such exchange of ideas.
