Assalam u a'laikum! My name is Josiah, i live in San Diego

If there are any non muslims who are curious about Islam and want to ask about how i (as a white christian having background in mostly small american white towns) came to embrace Islam. I can also pass on, inshallah

Please! No one be afraid to IM me or email me at any time, i love to hear from people and dont mind being surprised! So just send my a muslimspace message and we can talk!
Learning and discussing (especially about Islam), people who are involved in dawah, meeting new people (especially other Muslims from around the world), Traveling to new cultures, solving problems (by the grace of Allah :) ), mountain biking, sisters who go through a lot of trouble for our Ummah, the brothers too! martial arts... watermelon and curry chicken (not at the same time of course)... Learning new words in Arabic, and studying something new, I love school!
Documentaries, video lectures that have some sort of visual value, and of course i love to watch movies a great deal of movies... im into the whole epic adventure sword clash thing
Non Fiction for the most part, usually religion related

asalamu aliekom brother,

If the dead was to talk. Another video by Alsunna Team. Please spread it around to others. May Allah make it a benefit and a reminder to repent, Barakallahu feekum.

We all need some words of encouragement, so therefore I'm sending you this. Keep these words in mind, and InshAllah you will always succeed.

The Pencil Maker took the Pencil aside, just before putting it into the box.
"There are five things you need to know," the Pencil Maker told the Pencil, "Before I send you out into the World. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best Pencil you can be."
1. "You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in someone's hand."
2. "You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you will need it to become a better Pencil."
3. "You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make."
4. "The most important part of you will always be what's inside."
5. "On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write."
The Pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.
Now replacing the place of the Pencil with you. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.
1. "You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Allah's (SWT) hand. And allow other human beings to access you for the many gifts you possess."
2. "You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, by going through various problems in life, but you will need it to become a stronger person."
3. "You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make."
4. "The most important part of you will always be what's on the inside."
5. "On every surface you walk through, you must leave your mark. No matter what the situation, you must continue to do your duties."
Moral: Allow this parable on the Pencil to encourage you to know that you are a special person and only you can fulfill the purpose to which you were born to accomplish.
Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot make a ch

As-salamu Alaykum.

Thank you for visiting my site on May 11. I apologize for the tardiness of this reply. How are things in New Zealand? What can I say, except that, like most "Westerners" (or residents of "Western" countries), we are living in a fool's paradise, knowing little and understanding even less. On the night before the end of the world, we will be watching 15 grown men chasing a ball around a field.
