WOW sis I'm so sorry! I have yet to have my passport photo changed to one i'm wearing hijab in. To avoid expenses i have to wait til i change my last name to a married name...so yeah idk what thats like...but i'm so sorry! inshallah things will get better foryou... alhamdulillah, i'm so happy that you have not given in

i read your blog with my mouth wide open ... such arrogant and ignorant people always exist..i have had too much trouble concerning my look and being muslim.i guess we just need to be patient and stick with the laws of Allah swt. no matter what.
NO comprimise when it comes to Islam inshaAllah.may Allah swt. reward u for not taking your hijab and get the passport easier.
as Allah swt. said in Quran : The Jews and Christians will never be happy with you until you follow their ways.
let them be sad ,inshaAllah we will never make them happy.

I am so happy for you too on getting your passport accepted.....it must be NZ all round....here I am married for 3yrs to a Pakistani bro and NZ immigration still will not give him a visa.....we have only been thru 4 attempts at a visa.....I have written to higher commands last being Minister of Immigration...still waiting...but hey I have only waited 3yrs now
