Assalamu Aleikom wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh,
Bismillah hir Rahmanir Rahim,
My name is AbdulHamid by conversion to Islam. I have been a Muslim, ALHAMDOULILAH, for about 3 years now and I can say with experience that it is the greatest of belief systems and the greatest of blessings for all humankind. I have just passed my final year exams for Business, Economic and Social Studies in Trinity College Dublin with an honours degree. I look forward to serving my ummah upon graduation, insha ALLAH. I plan to become a librarian and work in the biggest and best libraries in the world, insha ALLAH. I am an Ahmadi Muslim, masha Allah.

You Are 1: The Reformer

You're a responsible person - with a clear sense of right and wrong.

High standards are important to you, and you do everything to meet them.

You are your own worst critic, feeling ashamed if you're not perfect.

You have uncompromising integrity, and people expect you to be fair.

At Your Best: You are hopeful, honest, and inspiring. You bring out the best in humanity.

At Your Worst: You are intolerant, judgmental, and picky.

Your Fixation: Resentment

Your Primary Fear: Being corrupt.

Your Primary Desire: To be good.

Other Number 1's: Al Gore, Martha Stewart, Gandhi, Celene Dion, and Spock from Star Trek.

What Number Are You?
I like comedy films and programmes because I am a serious person by nature. I like learning about EVERYTHING. I like chocolate VERY MUCH. I like halal jelly sweets. I also like tea and coffee and trying exotic foods from all parts of the world. Istanbul is the most beautiful city in the world that I have visited. My favourite colour is blue. And Oh yes, I like praying!
sins, especially my own. materialism, athiesm, agnostics (because they havent a clue about anything - their belief system is a method of indulging themselves), people who dislike shias - just because......, Muslim brothers who dont try to live the deen and imitate the west - WHY? Nestle products because the company is immoral. Coca-Cola products because the company is even MORE immoral. My mistakes in acting towards people. My mistakes towards Allah (SWT)
I love Beethoven and Mozart. Rondo ala Turca by Mozart is the most spirited and uplifting piano tinkler I ever want to listen to. I adore all Ave Marias, especially the version of Gounod's sung by Andreas Bocelli. Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky is also a personal favourite as is "Kind of Blue" by Miles Davis buts that's Jazz. I also like Sami Yusuf. I made neeya to go on Hajj after listening to one of his songs accompany footage of the pilgrimage at the ka'ba. Oh yes Im a haji.
My favourite film of all time is "Spartacus" starring Kirk Douglas. I also love "The Field" starring Richard Harris and Tom Berenger; "Unforgiven" starring Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Richard harris and Gene Hackman; and "2010: Odyssey Two". I've recently also seen part of "The Message". I intend to hunt down the entire film as quickly as Allah allows.
"King Lear", by William Shakespeare. "Watership Down", by Richard Adams. "The Hobbit", by J.R.R. Tolkien. "The Bakers Boy", by J.V. Jones. And of course, "When the Moon Split: a biography of the Prophet Mohammed (SAWS)", by Safiur Mubarakpuri. Em, Holy Qur'an :)
I am a bit of an intellectual traveller. I know something about most things and a lot about a little number of things. Wikipedia is my favourite site on the internet.

Your Career Type: Social

You are helpful, friendly, and trustworthy.
Your talents lie in teaching, nursing, giving information, and solving social problems.

You would make an excellent:

Counselor - Dental Hygienist - Librarian
Nurse - Parole Officer - Personal Trainer
Physical Therapist - Social Worker - Teacher

The worst career options for your are realistic careers, like truck driver or farmer.
What's Your Ideal Career?

You Are Scissors

Sharp and brilliant, you can solve almost any problem with that big brain of yours.

People fear your cutting comments - and your wit is famous for being both funny and cruel.

Deep down, you tend to be in the middle of an emotional storm. Your own complexity disturbs you.

You are too smart for your own good. Slow down a little - or you're likely to hurt yourself.

You can cut a paper person down to pieces.

The only person who can ruin you is a rock person.

When you fight: You find your enemy's weak point and exploit it.

If someone makes you mad: You'll do everything you can to destroy their life

salaam,
I hope, you're doing great at your end, insha3allah.
oh, such a faux pas! sometimes I forget, that growing up in a culture, where Latin used to be some kind of a mother tongue ages before and that they taught you this language at school doesn't mean, everybody understand it, excuse me. it means "there's no arguing about tastes".

i hope now everything's clear, isn't it.

take care & have a beautiful evening, insha3allah,

K.

littlekasiku (10 Oct 2008, 8:23 pm):
